Terms of Sales

All prices quoted are in US Dollars. Prices are F. O. B. Malaysia ie. Excluding packing costs, freight costs & cost of export documentation. Due to prices of discus are seasonally affected, IDF reserves the right to amend the price list without prior notice. However, we will confirm the prices upon customer's request.
A minimum 5 boxes of discus.
(100kg required by airline to enjoy special commodity freight rate)
  • Air freight charges are variable and depend on the destination airport, calculated per kilogram (kg).
    We use standard 60 x 40 x 27 cm (TALL M) I.A.T.A. approved styrofoam container of each approximately 20 kg.
  • Documentation & Handling:
    • Certificate of Origin.
    • Certificate of Health.
    • Other Supporting Documents (if applicable)
    • Forwarder Handling charges.
    • Transportation to cargo. (to be informed)
  • Packing Fees $20 per box/carton.
  • Advanced payment must be made prior to shipment.
  • Payment must be fully paid and sufficient to cover freight charges, cost of goods, packaging costs, and charges incurred on documentation. All overseas bank charges are for the account of the buyer.
  • All payments must be made by means of Telegraphic Transfer (TT) to the following account:

Under normal flights, DOA (death on arrival) of the fish normally will not exceed 5%. For DOA exceeding 5%, buyer should report and submit the bad shipment / Discrepancy forms to the carriers immediately. For our verification, a copy of the discrepancy form and photographs of each of the dead fish must be sent to us immediately. Compensation, in this case, will be the replacement of dead fish(es) during the next shipment.

However, if DOA of the fish occurred due to flight delays or mishandling by the airline, we will not be responsible for compensation. Instead, buyer should lodge their claims directly to the relevant airline. In case of DOA due to delays in clearance, we will not be liable for compensation.
